The traditional Irish dances with their spectacularity were the ones that inaugurated the event. The stage is the Palmengarten, historical building of the Botanical Garden, and in front of the organization Michael Stöckl and Christine Isensee-Kiesau.
LA SIDRA.- This was a special edition, since there were many changes that the organizers considered necessary to adapt to modern trends. The first of these changes is the name in English for greater international acceptance. Another is the change in the organization of the Pomme d’Or awards that stopped being composed by a jury of just German cidermakers to include cidermakers and sommeliers form other countries. This fact helps to achieve a more international criterion and less limited to German taste and character.
