“In Asturies cider is a way of life”

The Polish producer Michal Oleksinski visited Asturies to learn more about our cider culture.

LA SIDRA.- In the words of the Polish cidermaker: “In Asturies, cider is a way of life, it is deeply rooted in every Asturian person”, and in his visit to our country to know the method of making Asturian cider and our cider culture, stresses that our cider is “natural, very different from English or French”.

It is always a pleasure to know and deepen our product par excellence with people interested in the world of cider. In addition, one of the objectives of the Asturies XXI Foundation and the  LA SIDRA magazine, is to promote Asturian cider culture, both inside and outside our borders.

Recently we had the opportunity to analyze the market of cider in Poland with Michal Oleksinski, who is developing cider – still in a non-professional way -, in order to, in the future, arrive to launch a cider mill in this European country.
