In innovation is the future of cider

Antonio Migoya is the General Secretary of the Caja Rural Foundation, an organization that among other tasks supports initiatives that promote the Asturian countryside: Migoya and his team also advise farmers, farmers in terms of viability plans or CAP aids.

LA SIDRA.-In the interview conducted by Estíbaliz Urquiola, Antonio Migoya explains the activity and objectives of the Caja Rural Foundation, while offering his vision of the Asturian countryside in general and the cider and apple sector in particular.

“The evolution of the sector has to be outside of Asturies, the growth has to be related to new products”.
“For the selection of initiatives we never take into account the benefit that may have for the Fund, we always think of the benefit to the primary sector”.
“The only aid from the CAP for the cider sector is the organic apple”.
