The Asturian Song and Cider has been held since the very first edition of the First Cider of the Year and have as protagonists the new singers of Asturian song, relating it with cider.
LA SIDRA.- For eight years students from different Traditional Music Schools have been participating in the Asturian Song and Cider, such as: Escuela de Música Tradicional La Quintana headed by the teacher Ismael Tomás; Escuela de Música Tradicional Manolo Quirós,headed by the teacher Anabel Santiago, Escuela Casa La Cultura de Colunga,headed by the teacher Lorena Corripio, l’Andecha de Cultura Tradicional LA DEVA, Bandina Villaviciosa or Bandina Gaites Noreña among others. As well there will be bagpipers like Llorián García Flórez and sound technician Elisa García Gómez, with Xosé María García as presenter.
